Abby Connect pricing: calculate Human + AI usage
Abby Connect pricing starts at $164 per month for 50 Abby Minutes. The important comparison is how your intended mix of human and AI answering consumes that allowance. Revo, a competing AI answering provider, prepared this documentary review from official pages checked October 27, 2026. We did not test Abby, score its service or obtain a business-specific quote.

Read the monthly allowance in the right unit
Abby offers human receptionists, AI answering or a combination. Its current monthly plans are shown below. These are dated published prices, not a promise about your final invoice. The pricing page describes month-to-month service; do not treat these amounts as an annual prepayment offer or assume an unpublished annual discount.
| Plan | Monthly subscription | Included Abby Minutes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $164 | 50 |
| Essential | $329 | 100 |
| Professional | $599 | 200 |
| Growth | $1,380 | 500 |

Calculate the mix before estimating overage
One measured human minute consumes one Abby Minute; one measured AI minute consumes half. A call using both is split by the portion each handles. This gives an office a meaningful option when some calls require people and others can follow an AI workflow.
For the following original example, assume the times are already billable measured minutes after the applicable timing rules. They are fictional workloads, not observed customer performance.
| Fictional monthly workload | Calculation | Abby Minutes consumed |
|---|---|---|
| 30 human minutes + 40 AI minutes | 30 + (40 ÷ 2) | 50 |
| 10 human minutes + 80 AI minutes | 10 + (80 ÷ 2) | 50 |
| 45 human minutes + 30 AI minutes | 45 + (30 ÷ 2) | 60 |

Use the published overage rate, not base-price division
Abby’s terms list overage at $3.29 per Abby Minute for Starter and Essential, $2.99 for Professional and $2.76 for Growth. Dividing a subscription price by its allowance is not the contractual overage calculation.
Under the fictional 60-Abby-Minute Starter case above, 10 extra units at $3.29 add $32.90 to $164, giving $196.90 before taxes or other applicable charges. That arithmetic does not establish your call mix, every billable activity or an invoice quote.

Check how recorded time becomes measured time
The terms include ring, talk and transfer time, exclude potential hold time, and describe two rounding steps: each included component goes up to a whole second; their total then goes up to a 30-second mark. Raw conversation duration therefore is not enough to recreate usage.
Ask Abby to explain a sample usage record for your proposed arrangement. Have the example identify which part was human, which was AI, the included timing components and the resulting units. If a busy-month forecast approaches a plan boundary, request both a normal-month and a peak-month estimate using the same assumptions.

Decide where human handling is worth purchasing
Start with the work rather than assuming every minute is interchangeable. A contractor might want a person to handle an existing-customer exception while using AI for a straightforward new request. Write which decisions staff may make and which must return to your office.
Use three fictional demonstration cases: an ordinary service inquiry, a request that does not fit the instructions and an unavailable destination. Ask the provider to show the supported handoff and the record the office receives. These are proposed checks, not tests we performed. A lower unit total is not proof of a better customer outcome.
Compare Revo separately and request the complete offer
Revo’s current Pricing page displays a Solo launch offer of $87.50 per month with 100 included revenue-agent minutes, against a $175 list price. That is a different service and billing description, not 100 Abby Minutes or a human-receptionist entitlement. This snapshot establishes no Revo human network or named software integration.
Before choosing either provider, record answering scope, escalation ownership, the definition of usage, applicable additional charges and the written billing terms. Ask whether taxes are included in the quoted total and how a trial becomes paid service. Compare the offer that fits your workflow; this article makes no savings or performance claim.

Common questions
Make the next step clear.
Resolve the details that matter to your team and callers.
Does 50 Abby Minutes always mean 50 minutes of conversation?
No. The unit conversion depends on human versus AI handling, and the terms define measured time and rounding. Use the resulting billable units rather than raw talk duration.
Is Abby an AI-only service?
No. Its current offer lets customers choose human, AI or mixed handling. Decide which arrangement your office actually needs.
Are the examples complete quotes?
No. They use fictional measured usage and dated published rates. Obtain the applicable offer and confirm taxes, additional charges and operating scope directly.
