ServiceM8 Phone Agent: verify the US package and caller outcome

For a US contractor already using ServiceM8, a native Phone Agent may be attractive because the resulting work can remain within the existing operation. The purchase still requires checking the account, Phone plan and exact outcome of a call. A message, a booking link and a submitted request are different records.

Price the add-on with the required account

The US Phone page lists Connect Plus at $32 per month with 500 call minutes and AI Phone Agent, and Unlimited at $119 with AI Phone Agent. These are Phone offers, not the complete ServiceM8 account price.

The Phone FAQ identifies US availability and the paid-account requirement. Obtain your full ServiceM8 subscription plus Phone cost, applicable usage and any existing-account conditions. Do not assume an older Connect plan includes the agent merely because an account has Phone. Ask how any grandfathered offer differs from the current page.

Distinguish the agent's outputs

The official Phone Agent introduction describes answers to common questions, Inbox messages, texted booking links, submission of online bookings and staff transfers. Which result is appropriate depends on the supported setup.

Requested resultEvidence to inspect
Capture a messageThe Inbox item, required details and person who owns follow-up
Send a booking linkThe caller receives the right link; identify who must complete it
Submit an online bookingThe actual submitted record and what still requires office acceptance
Transfer to staffDestination, context and outcome if nobody answers

A submitted request does not by itself prove a technician has accepted an arrival time. Inspect the resulting status and authorized appointment language rather than treating every use of “booking” as identical.

Evaluate it with one existing-account scenario

A fictional plumbing office receives a request from an existing customer about a different property. Ask the supplier to show how the chosen setup identifies the relevant information, avoids assuming the old address and produces the agreed new record. Keep unsupported job-status answers or technical commitments for the office.

Then demonstrate the same call when the designated staff member cannot take a transfer. Confirm who sees unresolved work. Do not test with real customer details or route a live line simply to explore a feature.

Compare an independent answering arrangement honestly

Revo's plans publish AI intake, supported booking and summaries, with team transfers depending on plan. This guide establishes no native Revo-to-ServiceM8 connection, job-card creation or equivalent Inbox behavior. If keeping every record inside ServiceM8 is mandatory, require evidence of that exact result before choosing an alternative.

Is the $32 Phone plan the complete business-software subscription?

No. Confirm the required paid ServiceM8 account and complete Phone charges.

Does an older Phone subscription automatically include Phone Agent?
