Virtual Receptionist Pricing: How the Models Work

Virtual receptionist pricing is easier to compare once you know which unit you are buying. Most offers fall into three models, and each one charges for a different part of the same call.

The three pricing models

  • Live receptionist minutes: you pay for the time a person spends on your calls.
  • AI minutes added to a phone plan: you keep a phone plan and pay extra for AI answering time.
  • Flat AI reception plan: one monthly price with an included allowance of minutes.

Count these before you ask for quotes

Write down four numbers from your phone records: calls per month, average call length, share that arrive after hours, and share that need a person. Then ask every provider the same three questions: what happens to the bill on very short calls, on transferred calls, and when you pass the allowance.

Where Revo fits

Revo is a flat AI reception plan. Solo is $87.50/mo at launch for the first three monthly payments after the trial, then $175/mo, with 100 minutes; calls under 20 seconds do not count. Every plan answers 24/7, books appointments with your rules, sends SMS follow-up and logs a call summary. Transfers to your team and a connection to your field service software start on Crew. Frequently asked questions

Is a virtual receptionist cheaper than an answering service?

It depends on your call mix. Compare the same month of calls under each provider's billing rules.

Do AI receptionists charge per minute?

Some do; others include minutes in a flat plan. Ask what happens after the allowance.
