Answering service cost: plan for minutes and coverage
Start with a published price and its billing unit.
Revo’s published Launch Offer runs from $87.50/month for Solo with 100 minutes to $350/month for Fleet with 400 minutes; Crew is $175 for 200 minutes. Other services bill by receptionist minutes, distinct customers or a custom quote. Compare the plan’s work and billing rules before treating prices as equivalent.

01 / Budget and coverage
Compare the billing model before the headline price.
The table is a dated selection of public offers, not a market-wide average or a lowest-price ranking. Revo’s figures are its published Launch Offer, not a change to eligibility or rate duration. Use each provider’s current written terms for setup, tax, usage and cancellation details.
Providers can quote a monthly subscription with included minutes, a per-minute rate, a per-call package or a staffing arrangement. These are comparison categories, not claims about a particular competitor.
Ask what counts as billable time, how rounding works and whether transfers, short calls or follow-up use the allowance. Request the current terms for additional usage; do not infer an overage rate by dividing the monthly fee by included minutes.
01List the monthly base charge and included allowance.
02Check additional usage, setup charges and cancellation terms in the actual offer.
03Compare coverage hours and responsibilities as well as price.
02 / Budget and coverage
Estimate monthly minutes from your own records.
For a planning scenario, multiply expected handled calls by their average handled duration. Example only: 40 calls × 2 minutes = 80 minutes for one month; 60 × 3 = 180 minutes. Neither example describes Revo traffic or customer results.
Separate new inquiries, existing customers and irrelevant calls. Use the provider’s billing rules to convert those categories into a billable estimate, and leave unknowns unresolved until the terms are confirmed.
01Use the same monthly period for call count and minutes.
02Review a quieter and a busier month rather than one average alone.
03Allow for longer calls, callbacks and the office work that remains.
03 / Budget and coverage
Read the current Revo plans and their feature limits.
The plan block below comes from the shared official pricing data. Check the linked pricing page for the current offer and terms. Review the current Launch Offer terms, including eligibility and how long your rate applies.
Solo does not include team transfers, WhatsApp follow-up, field-service software connections, recordings and transcripts, dedicated onboarding, training on your own calls, multiple numbers and locations, or an account manager. Crew adds the first five of those features, but excludes the last three. Fleet lists those additional features. Confirm that the supported setup fits your operation.
04 / Budget and coverage
Keep subscription cost separate from opportunity value.
This guide estimates the cost and usage of answering coverage. The separate cost-of-missed-calls worksheet explores potential gross job value under your own assumptions. It does not prove that a subscription recovers that value or pays for itself.
Include who reviews summaries, confirms requests and handles exceptions when comparing options. A lower monthly price does not establish an identical service scope.
