Focus Answering: 28-day billing and agent work time

Focus’s pricing page uses 28-day billing periods and agent work time. Its sample plans should not be compared directly with calendar-month offers. Published by Revo. Official information checked October 22, 2026.

The samples have different service scope

Focus publishes a low-volume message-taking/text-delivery sample of $79 for 50 minutes, then $1.61 per additional minute. Its higher-complexity example is $870 for 500 minutes, then $1.71, aimed at appointment booking or caller-information collection. They are examples for different service needs, not proof that one configuration costs only more per minute.

Put the billing period into the comparison

The page states a standard 28-day period. Thirteen such periods span 364 days. At an unchanged $79 base, 13 periods would total $1,027 before usage and other applicable charges; 12 charges would total $948. This illustrates the calendar difference, not an annual quote or a claim about the final billing date.

Ask what work counts toward minutes: the page describes agent time covering the answer, detailed message and dispatch of information. A talk-time report alone may not contain all that work.

Vendor contact is distinct from accepted field work

Focus separately describes vendor dispatch under client instructions and software integration. A property-maintenance office should distinguish attempting vendor contact from receiving an accepted assignment. Pricing should identify the agent work involved in that configured process.

Compare an agreed handoff that enters a useful task with a basic message-only service, using the same period and activity definition. The published sample cannot establish which integration or acknowledgment behavior your account will have.

For an office-defined vendor handoff, record the original request, authorized vendor, attempted contact and the response. Keep “attempted” until the vendor explicitly accepts the next action under your rules. If no acknowledgment arrives, return the unresolved task to the office’s escalation owner. This is a proposed acceptance flow, not verified Focus account behavior.

Common questions

Make the next step clear.

Resolve the details that matter to your team and callers.

Is a Focus billing period the same as a calendar month?

The reviewed page says 28 days.

Are its two samples just different minute allowances?

No. The page associates them with different complexity and task scope; obtain a quote for the actual configuration.

Focus’s meaningful comparison requires period, agent work and service complexity to be held constant.
