GoHighLevel AI Receptionist Pricing: Platform, Phone Charges and Agency Quotes

GoHighLevel AI receptionist pricing is not one all-inclusive number. A home-service business needs to identify the HighLevel account arrangement, the Voice AI plan and the telephone charges. If an agency supplies the account, its customer-facing package is another part of the comparison.

HighLevel's relevant documentation calls the voice product Voice AI and its AI subscription options AI Employee. Start with those names in the proposal rather than assuming that every offer labeled “AI receptionist” includes the same work.

Identify who supplies the account

There are two purchasing arrangements to distinguish:

  • You operate an eligible HighLevel account. Identify the platform subscription you already pay for—or would need—before adding AI and phone charges.
  • An agency supplies a HighLevel subaccount. Read the agency's proposal to find which platform access, AI service, configuration and support are bundled, and which charges are separate.

HighLevel's pricing guide says an active subscription and account are required to use its additional services. It also describes agency-wallet funding for supported usage. The AI price alone is therefore not evidence that the underlying platform account is free. HighLevel Pricing Guide.

Do not add an agency's own platform subscription to your customer quote automatically. If the agency's package already includes the relevant access, counting it again would inflate the comparison. Conversely, an AI allowance does not establish that setup or ongoing support is included.

Read the AI plan separately from the phone bill

HighLevel's current pricing documentation lists these Voice AI arrangements:

AI optionDocumented monthly AI subscriptionVoice AI treatmentWhat remains outside this headline
Pay-Per-UseNo monthly AI subscription feeApplicable usage chargesBase platform arrangement, Phone System charges and any separately quoted services
AI Employee Growth$50 per enabled location100 minutes shared by inbound, outbound and widget Voice AI; additional usage at applicable ratesPhone System charges and other separately applicable costs
AI Employee Unlimited$97 per enabled locationSupported Voice AI usage included, subject to fair usePhone System charges and other separately applicable costs

“Unlimited” does not mean that every phone call has a zero total cost. Use the selected product's current rate details and confirm the price shown in the actual account. AI Employee plan and phone-charge distinctions, cross-checked with AI Product Pricing, modified October 20, 2026.

Record what the enabled location represents in the proposed setup. Do not assume that every physical branch creates a separate subscription, or that several configured locations share an allowance, without checking the account arrangement.

Do not turn one voice rate into an all-in call price

The current Voice AI documentation distinguishes text-to-speech component pricing from speech-to-speech pricing. For the former, voice processing, the chosen speech model and language-model usage contribute to AI cost. The latter has documented bundled AI rates. Phone charges remain a separate consideration. Use the selected architecture's rate card, not a formula copied from another configuration. Voice AI pricing details.

For the buyer, the useful question is: Which exact charge would this call create in my proposed account? Ask the supplier to show the selected model, the measured unit, applicable allowance and separately charged phone usage. A sample calculation that leaves out a component should be labeled a subtotal, not a total.

Keep historical and current rate sheets separate. An old tutorial or screenshot can explain what somebody paid at the time without establishing your current offer.

Understand an agency quote without becoming a reseller

HighLevel distinguishes rebilling usage from reselling a recurring AI subscription. An agency can therefore present a customer price that differs from HighLevel's underlying charge. Ask which arrangement your proposal uses, who supplies support and where you can review the usage that reaches your bill. AI Employee access, rebilling and reselling.

A fixed client-facing rate per minute is still a usage rate, not an unlimited flat monthly price. HighLevel's fixed-rate documentation separates that client rate from the agency's underlying costs. Fixed-Rate Rebilling.

This is a buyer's reconciliation, not instructions to enable rebilling, change a customer's price or buy an agency upgrade. Have the account owner confirm the applicable arrangement in writing.

Use the quote-reconciliation matrix

Complete the HighLevel quote worksheet from the actual proposal. Mark unknowns as unresolved; do not substitute an industry average.

Setup and supportTasks, owner, one-time versus recurring amountWho maintains the configuration and resolves problems?
Limits and authorizationPerson who can view charges or approve more usageWhat happens when the current allowance or chosen limit is reached?

Worked example: a shared usage allowance

Consider a fictional Growth location using 80 inbound minutes, 15 outbound minutes and 10 widget minutes in one billing month. Under the documented shared allowance, that is 105 Voice AI minutes, or 5 minutes above 100. Counting only inbound calls would miss part of this example's usage.

This calculation identifies excess units, not their complete dollar charge. The selected configuration, applicable rates and phone activity are still required. The example does not authorize outbound calling or establish its permissions.

Worked example: avoid counting a bundle twice

A fictional agency offers a $180 monthly package that expressly includes platform access and the selected AI subscription, while excluding phone charges. Those assumptions make $180 the known recurring package subtotal—not $180 plus another $50 AI subscription. The remaining telephone amount and any separately agreed usage or support charges still need to be resolved.

The $180 figure is invented solely to demonstrate the arithmetic. It is not a HighLevel or agency offer. If the real quote does not clearly include the AI subscription, do not assume this treatment applies.

For a business-operated account, the corresponding comparison starts with its actual platform arrangement plus the applicable AI and phone components. Do not force a total while a required component is unknown.

Check the consequence of a usage limit

A usage alert and a stop condition serve different purposes. HighLevel's usage-limit documentation describes both continued operation with notifications and blocking at a configured limit. Confirm which setting applies to the proposed subaccount, who can change it and what a caller-facing workflow does if AI pauses. This article does not verify actual account enforcement or establish a ceiling on the entire phone bill. AI Usage Limits.

Do not assume that choosing the lowest limit is harmless. Your office still needs a defined way to receive and follow up on requests when the AI workflow cannot operate. Ask for an authorized demonstration before routing customers; do not deliberately interrupt a live account to find out.

Decide from the complete configured scope

Before accepting the offer, resolve these points:

  1. Which HighLevel account and enabled location will provide the service?
  2. Which components are included in the customer price, and which are separately metered?
  3. Who owns configuration, support, charge review and additional-usage approval?
  4. What will a representative authorized inquiry produce: a message, a pending request or a confirmed booking in the agreed destination?
  5. What happens if the workflow pauses, the office cannot accept the request or a connection fails?

If your business already uses HighLevel, compare the incremental configured cost and remaining office work. If you only need call answering, compare a narrower answering service against the same required tasks—not against the price of an entire platform serving other purposes.

Use the existing answering-service cost guide for the broader billing comparison and receptionist selection guide for operating requirements.
