HVAC PPC marketing: map the search to the office handoff
HVAC PPC marketing needs a clear connection between the search, the advertised service and the next step the business can deliver. Use this planning worksheet to evaluate a proposed paid-search campaign. It does not create a campaign, recommend spending or promise leads.

Group searches by the work the business wants
Begin with approved services and the actual service area. Separate a request for repair from a replacement consultation or maintenance inquiry when those lead to different office decisions. Also identify searches that concern employment, training or technical research rather than buying your service.
Create an original intent worksheet with example query, intended service, customer need, destination page, excluded interpretation and office owner. The queries are planning examples, not a keyword-volume report. Use actual search data when evaluating a live account; do not assign demand to invented phrases.

Make the ad and landing-page promise agree
For a repair inquiry, the destination should explain the applicable service and the supported contact step. Do not promise a confirmed arrival, a repair price or a service area that the office cannot support. A replacement consultation should not silently become a promise to install equipment on a requested date.
Review one complete path: example search, proposed message, destination page and phone or form instructions. If the office needs to review a request before confirming it, that status should remain consistent throughout. This resource does not change any existing Revo landing page, funnel or checkout.

Keep exclusions and geography visible in the brief
Ask the person managing advertising to explain how the proposed setup handles irrelevant searches, locations the business does not serve and ambiguous service terms. Record the desired exclusion and require verification in the actual platform before assuming it is active.
For a fictional heating-repair offer, a job-seeking query and a do-it-yourself parts query may have different intent from a service request. Do not mechanically exclude every research phrase; some customers research before purchasing. Have the responsible marketer review the evidence and the company’s offer rather than treating this article as a ready-made campaign configuration.

Measure inquiries before claiming jobs or revenue
Use a stable reference to distinguish a new inquiry from repeat contacts. Record the reported or evidenced source, requested service, service-area fit, appointment outcome and office follow-up. Preserve unknown attribution as unknown. A call is not automatically a qualified lead, and a booking is not completed work.
Compare periods with a stated observation window and note changes in capacity or offer. This worksheet does not establish causation, a conversion benchmark or a return-on-ad-spend target. The business should approve its own financial assumptions and any campaign decisions.
The HVAC lead-generation guide compares acquisition channels; the Local Services Ads guide covers a different product’s phone route and lead records. This page is the paid-search planning brief linking intent, message and office outcome. Revo can be evaluated for its published answering scope through Services and Pricing, not assumed to manage PPC or supply complete ad attribution.
Common questions
Make the next step clear.
Resolve the details that matter to your team and callers.
Is this a campaign setup guide with a recommended budget?
No. It is an original planning and review worksheet. Current platform setup and spending decisions belong to the authorized campaign owner.
Should every advertising call count as a new lead?
Keep contact events and distinct inquiries separate. Apply a documented qualification rule and verify later appointments or jobs independently.
Choose the scope your office can maintain, and test it with fictional requests before relying on it.
